The Atlantic House, also known as the A-House, is Provincetown's most popular and only year-round dance club. This complex consists of the Little Bar (cruise bar with juke box) - The Macho Bar (Provincetown's original leather and Levi bar) & the Big Room (Provincetown's #1 Dance Club!)
Resident D.J. and Billboard Magazine reporter David LaSalle embarks on his 29th season as Provincetown's longest running D.J. playing the most current music and progressive tracks in town.
The A-House's infamous Friday night parties continue with a different theme offered each week with a cash prize awarded for the best costume or presentation. The A-House is also the only bar that is consistantly busy 7 nights a week unlike other establishments that offer 1 or 2 special nights. The bar of choice for most locals and visitors alike, the A-House also lays claim to being one of the oldest historical buildings in town (built in 1798) and possibly one of the first discos in the country.
No attitude or pretense here. A bar where everyone is welcome, gay, lesbian, straight, CD, whatever. Stop by and enjoy the experience!
