Mariah Hanson, founder of the modern day Dinah Shore Weekend, has announced more additions to her star-studded line-up for the upcoming Dinah Shore Weekend 2007 taking place in Palm Springs March 28 thru April 1. Two time Grammy Award winner and 12 time Grammy Award nominee, India Arie, has been added to the Dinah Shore Weekend and will be performing on Friday, March 30 at the White Diamonds Party in an exclusive midnight concert with her full band at the Doral Grand Ballroom. Also performing earlier that evening in a rare performance will be music legend and producer Linda Perry (Four Non Blondes) and national recording artist Sierra Swan. Hosting the event will be Jackie Warner of Bravo's Work Out series.
The White Diamonds Party is considered one of the largest all womenís events in the world with the hottest women attending the white themed party from every continent. This years Dinah is proving to be even bigger than before with record number tickets sold in advance.
Other performers previously announced include Sandra Bernhard who will be making her first ever Dinah appearance headlining a concert on Friday, March 30 and Suzanne Westenhoeffer, who will appear at comedy night with Thursday, March 29. An exclusive L Word Pool Party featuring performances by Bitch and Betty on will be the highlight on Sunday, April 1.
According a press release from the eventís organizers the 2007 Dinah Shore Weekend is shaping up to be the biggest ever, with The Wyndham and Doral Hotels already completely sold out.
