Four Indicted in Illegal HIV Prescription Drug Scheme
A New Hampshire woman and four California men have been indicted for allegedly operating a scheme in which large quantities of a prescription HIV drug were illegally purchased from illegitimate sources at prices significantly below the price the manufacturer charges pharmacies, and then illegally distributed to wholesale distributors using false paperwork.

US: Gag Rule Threatens Global Fight Against HIV/AIDS
A federal appeals court should strike a provision of US anti-AIDS law that undermines proven and effective efforts to fight HIV/AIDS among sex workers, thus putting their lives and health at risk, Human Rights Watch and a coalition of 26 public health experts, human rights organizations and HIV/AIDS groups said December 21 in an amicus curiae to the court.

Safer Sex Resources Become More Available to Kenyan Gay Men
Safer sex health services are now being offered on a more frequent basis to gay and bisexual men in Kenya, even though it is still a crime for them to have sex there, UN news service IRIN Plus reports. That crime can carry a 14-year jail sentence.
