High Court Tosses Milwaukee Gay Arts Center Lawsuit
The civil rights lawsuit filed by the Milwaukee Gay Arts Center after police shut down its production of "Naked Boys Singing" was rejected this week by a federal judge. According to the Milwaukee Daily Sentinel reports that the police department's vice squad shut down the nude musical revue in August 2005 because its organizers did not have a license.

Constitutional Scholars Ask Court to Reconsider 'Don't Ask, Donít Tell'
A group of renowned constitutional scholars has filed a brief asking the First Circuit Court of Appeals to reverse a District Court ruling and allow a lawsuit battling the 'Donít Ask, Donít Tell' law to move forward. In their main brief, the plaintiffs argue that 'Donít Ask, Donít Tell' violates their rights of substantive due process, equal protection and freedom of speech.

LA Gay & Lesbian Center Sues IRS For Past Discrimination
The L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center sued the Internal Revenue Service in U.S. District Court Wednesday to force the IRS to obey the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) by releasing documents related to its discriminatory rejection of the center's application for non-profit status in the early 1970s. More than a year after filing for federal 501(c)(3) non-profit status in 1971, the IRS denied the application from the 'Gay Community Services Center' (as it was known then) on the unsubstantiated grounds that it was not 'organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.'

Lesbian Sues Doctors Who Denied Infertility Treatments For Religious Reasons
A San Diego lesbian, whose doctor denied her infertility treatments because of conflicting religious beliefs regarding homosexuality, is seeking to reinstate a trial court decision that doctors must treat their gay patients like the rest of their patients.
